Meet Gary Jackson

After working within the trailer manufacturing industry for over 30 years I am delighted to be back with Montracon taking on the role of After Sales Manager.

My aim and intentions are to drive Montracon’s Aftersales Service forward and continue to develop its customer relationships. Building on the foundations already laid, I will call upon my vast knowledge and experience having worked previously for Montracon and other trailer manufacturers to grow the after-sales business. I have a complete understanding of the industry and its expectations so when you choose Montracon to repair your trailer, you can relax in the knowledge that you are in safe hands.

Do you need to own a Montracon trailer to use your services?

No, we repair different makes of trailers not just Montracon; SDC, Cartwright, Tiger, Lawrence David, Gray & Adams. In fact, we can repair ALL the UK competitors’ trailers. This service also extends to include all European manufacturers as well. Be it a Curtainsider, Box Van, Fridge or tipper we can do the lot.

Can you carry out refurbishment work?

Yes, refurbishment of trailers is the core of our business so no matter who manufactured the trailer we at Montracon have the experience and the facility to carry out complete or part refurbs, including livery updates. We also have the amenities to give the trailer an extended 2^nd life by removing the body for example.

But it’s not just trailers, we also carrying out refurbs and repairs to all types of HGV vehicles. It’s our bread & butter, so no matter how big or small the repair Montracon has the technical and engineering experience to resolve.

What are your typical turnaround times?

This is a very difficult question to answer without evaluating the job but be rest assured the work is carried out in the most effective and efficient way. We totally understand how important it is having the vehicle back on the road.

Do you offer technical support?

Yes, we have the full support of our engineering and technical team on-site, and a highly-skilled workforce, so no matter what’s involved Montracon will have a solution.
